What you will need for your tassels

Yarn

Your modern day telephone

A pair of scissors

first step, is to unroll your yarn and place the string in a line, on your telephone like the picture shown above. Make sure to keep a piece dangling off.

Then, you will begin to wrap the yarn in a top to bottom repetition shown above, make sure to keep the piece in place and count the amount of rolls you have made.

When you are done wrapping, cut the yarn about the same lenght as the other piece, i suggest wrapping your yarn 15 - 50 times for a ideal tassel, nothing under 15 or above 50 wraps. Then you will cut the mesured yarn, as shown below.

Set aside your telephone and cut a piece of yarn around the lenght from the tip of your pointer finger to your wrist and as shown below, fold it equally, make sure both ends meet.

Make sure it can make a loop.

Now that you are at tying the tassel. You will grab the wraps together with your thumb and pointer finger and slip your middle finger under and lift the yarn, not too much or too hard, to avoid breaking the yarn. As shown above.

As displayed above, you will pinch your yarn into an equal loop, and slip the loop under the wraps. Once here as shown below pass the 2 ends together twice to form a double knot as in pass the tails twice.

first knot.

you may zoom and insepct the photos properly to make sure you have it done right, taking your time is important, do not rush this step.

Here you will take the ends and pull not too hard or too much, make sure while you do, to pull gently to correct the knot so it is centered between the wraps.

After you have pulled enough, you will hold the 2 sides and slip the yarn off by pushing with your thumbs. As shown above.

Now, after you have slid it off it should look this way.

Here, prepare your scissors and firmly press them onto the yarn to be ready to cut, see image below, do not rush this step.

cut a string long enough for the neck, i do not exactly measure as there is no measuring in this guide.

put it in equal line like you did with the first knot you had done in the first step, like this.

pinch the head of the tassel and place the yarn there, example below.

put head wrap gif here pls.
